Industry's First IP Optical Integration demonstration will take place following the MPLS 2003 International conference on October 29th, 2003. The main focus of the demo is to highlight the results of the Isocore Internetworking lab's closed door testing to the public - demonstrating the readiness of various features and new services offered through MPLS.

The IP Optical demonstration will showcase the stability of MPLS-GMPLS for end-to-end dynamic connection management; with MPLS based services running on top of this fully long-haul resilient optical core. The demo will also highlight the ability of MPLS to maintain different classes of services over a fully controlled intelligent optical core.
